Individual Folder Redirect

For redirecting a single folder, Highlight the folder in the MMC and open the properties dialog box. The effect of this is that ALL files in the folder will be redirected to a matching filename in the new location unless only a filename is specified.

Click on the "A redirection to a URL"

Type in the new URL to be used for the folder location into the "Redrect to" box.

To make sure the redirection is set and is permanent both the "The exact URL entered above" and "A permanent redirection for this resource" checkboxes are checked (ticked).
If this is a temporary situation, where you simply want to redirect user agents for a short period leave the "permanent" box unchecked.
