1/ Do search engines recognise and index links <a href="URI">Anchor</a> or text URI references in text files .txt extensions.

2/ Do search engines recognise and index text URI references in HTML files .asp extensions without it being a link?.
Using an .asp extension so the page hits can be tracked without reading lots of logs.
